The club shoot is held for all members and is a 30 bird sporting event where the Ted Price shield is competed for. A 2 man flush is also held, where members compete for the Noel Swaine trophy.
We encourage new members to join on the day of the club shoot to try their hand at clay pigeon shooting. Top shooting members of the club are handicap on the day to give all members a fair chance to win the cup.
We also have a junior shoot over the 30 birds.
2011 Winner of the Ted Price Shield was Adrian Sinnott.
2011 Winner of the Noel Swaine Trophy was John Lacey and James Murphy.
Ferns GPA have 9 auto clay traps in the club, which makes it easier to setup the shoot. We would like to thank all the club members for their help on running the shoots and all other people for their support and to all our sponsors.
